The Bubbylonian Encounter
The Cisco College Theatre Department has initiated a community service project to provide school districts in the state of Texas with a training program to comply with House Bill 1041 (The Texas Jenna Law) which went into effect September 1, 2009. House Bill 1041 requires school districts to provide training for teachers, students, and parents on the subject of Sexual Child Abuse.
The Cisco College Theatre Department has produced a play, THE BUBBYLONIAN ENCOUNTER, that is designed to be presented to children to teach them about "good touch" and "bad touch". The program incorporates teacher training by counselors, the presentation of the play, and discussion with the children after they have seen the play.
